I met with John Hawkin and Jez Evans, management at Enveco Blackpool Environmental Services to discuss some of the issues raised by residents within my constituency.

On 29th May I received an alert on the Safer Seas and Rivers Service app that there had been a sewage discharge at 23.15 the previous night at Blackpool South that United Utilities was responsible for.

On 7 May 2024 I was honoured to formally take my seat in Parliament with my family watching from the gallery.

On 2 May 2024 I secured a historic win at the Blackpool South by-election with almost 59 per cent of the vote and with every polling district in my constituency voting for me.
