Blackpool Jobs Fair 2025 was a huge success! Over 4,000 job seekers attended, with more than 100 employers offering over 1,500 job opportunities, including over 500 positions filled on the day. This event, organised by my team and local Jobscentre staff, was a fantastic demonstration of what Blackpool has to offer.

With the sun shining, we welcomed major employers such as Pleasure Beach, Merlin, and the NHS, along with local businesses like Victrex and Glasdon. Employers were thrilled with the high turnout and the enthusiasm of attendees. Many even ran out of application forms and had to print more!

This event also focused on providing long-term career progression, with apprenticeships and support services for attendees. From CV workshops to mental health support, we ensured that people left not only with job opportunities but also the tools they need for future success.
